Expect major delays on Highway 99 southbound this afternoon due to a car fire.
Delta emergency crews are on the scene with the right lane currently blocked before the Highway 17 exit, reducing traffic down to a single lane.
Drive BC is also reporting a stalled vehicle in the left southbound lane, near the car fire, with a tow truck on its way.
Alternative routes out of South Delta include Ladner Trunk Road from Highway 17A or Highway 17.
