Soap for Hope Canada, a registered Canadian charity dedicated to providing access to essential hygiene products for vulnerable people through repurposing hotel toiletries and linens, is proud to announce the inaugural Hygiene Repurposing Experience, taking place at Tsawwassen Mills from May 6 to 11.
This unique event aims to engage the community in donating and repurposing hygiene products to benefit those in need.
Participants in the Hygiene Repurposing Experience will immerse themselves in a hands-on volunteer opportunity, which includes sorting, squeezing, filling, and packing repurposed hygiene products. Through these efforts, Soap for Hope Canada seeks to address the rising and critical need for essential hygiene items among vulnerable populations in the Greater Vancouver area.
Donations collected during the event will be redistributed to local Community Facilities, serving individuals that need a helping hand. By supporting Soap for Hope Canada's initiative, community members can directly impact lives, from kids to seniors, in the Vancouver area.
The fundraiser will be held from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. (May 6 to 11) near Entry 4 next to Marshalls.
Donations requested include: gently used shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and body lotion, or new or used deodorants, toothpaste, toothbrushes, combs/brushes, razors, and lip balm.
