Ladnerites are finding other ways to connect.
With the ongoing messaging of social distancing to combat the COVID-19 outbreak, Laura Mantle reached out to the Optimist on Monday with a great story of how friends, family and neighbours are finding other ways to be with each other.
“I live in a small townhouse complex in Ladner on 47A Ave. In order to comply with social distancing, in a show of kindness and compassion, our neighbours wrote birthday messages and sang happy birthday to our now four-year-old from their decks. An example of how wonderful our community is and how we can pull together in this difficult time,” she said.
