On Easter Monday, April 10 from noon to 3 p.m., Metro Vancouver is hosting a free, drop-in event for kids at Deas Island Regional Park called Critter Capers: Case of the Lost Bunny.

Nature detectives of all ages are needed to help Bruno the baby bunny, who has wandered into the forest and can’t find his mom. Compare tracks, scat, fur and other evidence to retrace the bunny’s steps. Help Bruno find his mom and avoid the wily coyote and other hungry critters. Earn a detective button for helping to crack the case.

At Critter Caper events, families engage in fun, hands-on activities to help animal characters in a park solve a mystery. Children take on the role of detectives and stop at clue stations along trails to examine evidence until they solve the case. This event is part of an ongoing series that is offered once a year.
