TransLink is notifying residents of upcoming closure during the Westham Island Bridge.
Overnight closures are scheduled on the following days between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m.:
Sunday, October 14 to Thursday, October 18
Sunday, October 21 to Thursday, October 25
This is the first of several closures. Closure information will be communicated as it becomes available.

As part of the TransLink Maintenance and Repair Program, rehabilitation work on the Westham Island Bridge began this fall and will continue until spring 2019. Work involves repairing and replacing components across the entire bridge, including piles and pile caps, floor beams and stringers below the deck, deck and handrail, and the swing mechanism. As one of TransLink’s oldest assets, the 108-year-old bridge requires regular repairs and maintenance to ensure it remains operational and safe.
