A section of 72nd Street in Ladner is expected to remain closed for an extended period following a truck accident on Friday morning.
As of 10 a.m. emergency personnel were still at the scene with the truck capsized in an east side ditch of 72nd Street between Churchill Street and Ladner Trunk Road, near the North 40 dog park. An excavator had been brought in to assist in digging out the back end of the truck.
The condition of the driver was unknown.
Traffic needing to access that area is being diverted to 80th Street via Churchill.
