Two Delta men will be back in a Richmond courtroom on Dec. 9 for an arraignment hearing, charged with one count of trafficking cocaine and multiple weapons counts.

In addition to the cocaine trafficking charge, Devin Bains and Elliott Bains, who are 28 and 26 years old, are charged with possession of several weapons without a licence as well as of storing them in a careless manner.

They are alleged to have had a semi-automatic Widley pistol, a Sig Sauer semi-automatic pistol, a German Sports Gun semi-automatic rifle and a Hunt Group Arms pump-action shotgun.

The Crown alleges they didn’t have a licence for any of the weapons and were storing them carelessly or “without reasonable precautions for the safety of other persons.”

Devin Bains is also charged with possession of a firearm and ammunition while prohibited.

According to the Delta police, they investigated Devin and Elliott Bains and executed search warrants on them in both Delta and Richmond in November 2022.
