The Women Membership of Beach Grove Golf Club has a long-standing tradition to annually hold a Member and Guest event with the goal of raising needed funds for a local charity and/or a community group in Delta.

This year a record amount of $25,000 was raised for the KinVillage Day Program.

The Day Program helps older adults with health challenges continue to live at home by supporting physical functioning, cognitive functioning, health monitoring, and caregiver well-being.

Participants usually visit on to three days per week where they can enjoy a variety of support and services. This vital support helps individuals remain in their own homes as long as possible. The program offers a wide range of care, activities, and respite services for seniors and their caregivers.

“KinVillage is incredibly grateful to the organizers of the Beach Grove lady golfers and their guests for choosing KinVillage’s Day Program as their charity of choice this year,” said Director of Development Kristen Thomas. “Their commitment to making a difference in the lives of older adults is truly inspiring. These funds will help so many in our community that are struggling with caregiver burnout. Thank you to everyone who participated and donated.”

KinVillage also recently hosted a very successful lawn bowling fundraiser which raised $58,000 – also in support of the Day Program.
