If you’re looking for some 2SLGBTQ+ centred events in Delta this summer, here’s a couple from the Delta Pride Society that should be on your radar.
Super Gay Bingo
There will be two “Super Gay Bingo” nights during the last week of June, and everyone is invited to these family-friendly evenings of games, entertainment and fun prizes.
The talented and dapper Drag King Justin Abit will be performing, and everybody is being encouraged to wear your spiffiest Pride outfits – as there may be a prize specifically for that.
Entry is by donation with proceeds going to the Delta Pride Society, and snacks and drinks will be for sale.
So, come on out to the Harris Barn in Ladner on Tuesday, June 28 from 7-8:30 p.m. and / or to the North Delta Recreation Centre on Wednesday, June 29 from 7-8:30 p.m. for some Pride-related fun!
Pride Picnic
Mark your calendars for Delta’s fourth annual Pride Picnic on Aug. 21 in Memorial Park.
As usual, there will be live entertainment, food trucks, vendors and resource tents.
