Deltassist community garden restored

After heartless thieves stole five large hanging baskets, five blueberry bushes, a grape vine, a clematis and some bedding plants from the Deltassist North Delta community garden, many in the community stepped up to right this wrong.

After heartless thieves stole five large hanging baskets, five blueberry bushes, a grape vine, a clematis and some bedding plants from the Deltassist North Delta community garden, many in the community stepped up to right this wrong.

Natural Focus Foods and Southridge Hardware came to the rescue and they thoughtfully and generously replaced the stolen flowers.

“This was such an uplifting gesture. Deltassist cannot get over how amazing our community is! We are always coming together to make a difference,” said Deltassist in a post on their Facebook page. “Southridge Hardware and Natural Focus foods, we cannot thank you enough.”
