Since 1992, Delview’s Thanks 4 Giving (T4G) has been the largest one-night canned food drive in the province.

On Thursday, Oct. 17, hundreds of Delview Secondary students will be knocking on doors across North Delta to collect non-perishable items for the school’s annual one-night food drive supporting families in the community.

Since 1992, Delview’s Thanks 4 Giving (T4G) has been the largest one-night canned food drive in the province.

It has consistently collected thousands of non-perishable food items, as well as cash donations, to support Deltassist and the Surrey Food Bank.

Last year, students set a record with a final tally of 26,449 non-perishable food items.

Look out for students canvassing the community for non-perishable food items between 6 and 8:30 p.m. on Oct. 17.

You may also leave items on your doorstep in a bag marked ‘T4G’ or drop items or cash off at the school at 9111 116th Street, Delta.

You can donate cash or cheques by visiting the school office (cheques made to Delview Secondary).

If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact the school at 604-594-5491.
