Earthwise Society is excited to announce its upcoming Dinner in the Garden on July 21, a unique farm-to-table dining experience set in the beautiful Earthwise Garden at Southlands.

Enjoy live music in the garden setting followed by a farm focused meal that celebrates the early summer harvests of the Earthwise Farm. The five-course meal will be presented by Chef Craig Sherer of the Chef’s Acre, known for his elegant, farm-forward cuisine.

Dinner in the Garden is more than just a meal; it is a celebration of community, sustainability, and the connection between people and their food.

Earthwise Society has been part of the Delta community for 45 years and created the Earthwise Garden in 2006 as a community resource to showcase ecological gardening and organic growing practices.

The Society’s programs focus on environmental initiatives, seniors’ well-being, education for kids and families, and food security.

The goal of this year’s fundraiser is to increase the reach of Earthwise Society’s Harvest Box program, a food security initiative that provides boxes of fresh local produce weekly to those in need in our community. As a registered charity, Earthwise Society relies on community support to continue its vital work.

“We are excited to share the fruits of our labour with our community and to highlight the importance of sustainable, local food systems,” said Earthwise Society executive director Patricia Fleming. “This event is a perfect opportunity for us to bring people together to enjoy an evening in the Earthwise Garden and discover what farm to table dining is all about.”
