In addition to the main Remembrance Day event in Ladner, a memorial event for those who served, and are still serving in the Canadian Armed Forces is also happening in North Delta.
The North Delta Remembrance Day ceremony and wreath laying takes place at the North Delta Social Heart Plaza Memorial Wall, from 10:30 a.m. to noon.
The social heart plaza is located at 11415 - 84th Ave.
The City of Delta, in partnership with the Kennedy Seniors Society, is hosting the event and invites everyone to attend.
Refreshments will follow the service nearby at the main hall of the North Delta Recreation Centre.
