Let’s take a step back in time in the pages of the Optimist to June 24, 1965.
Ladner Elementary held its honour awards that day, celebrating students who made the honour roll in all the grades.
Most notable that year was that three sets of twins in the school won varying awards and trophies.
The above photo shows, from left to right, Howard and Linda Davis, Paula and Lisa Schwyn and Laurie and Leann Shultz.
The photo below was also taken at the school awards, showing Mrs. Robert Cooper playing for the school for the last time.
She retired after teaching for many years in Delta.
