Delta Photo Club’s “Season of Zoom” continues at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 5 with a presentation on Natural Light Portraits by the much-awarded photographer Don MacGregor.
MacGregor will present a fast-moving program that covers lighting skills for people portraits with minimal equipment… naturally.
“We will look at window light and how to use it, we will explore how to find good quality of light outdoors and how to insure you get the full range of exposure in your original capture,” says MacGregor. “We will also take a little trip through the recent results of the World Photographic Cup.”
MacGregor’s many achievements range from yearly awards in multiple categories for Professional Photographer Associations in Canada and the U.S. to national and international awards to Honorary Lifetime Memberships to receiving the Yousuf Karsh Lifetime Achievement Award 2017.
He has taught more than 50 week-long classes for PPA affiliate schools including more than 25 consecutive years at TX School (PPA’s largest and most successful educational program). He has also presented numerous programs at the national conventions of PPA, PPPOC, State and Provincial platforms.
