Many residents of Tsawwassen are familiar with the work that the Rotary Club of Tsawwassen does here locally.
This story is one example of how local Rotarians are involved in several International projects.
Project Amigo provides educational scholarships, material support, enrichment activities, and health care to disadvantaged youth in the state of Colima, Mexico.
This year the Rotary Club of Tsawwassen is pleased to provided Camilo and Rosa, both Grade 7 students at Project Amigo, with educational scholarships.
Scholarships normally provide the students with bus money, books, school supplies, uniforms, and hot lunches. This year, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the students are home schooled. Their lunch and bus money are being used for groceries for their families.
