St. Andrew's Anglican Church is looking to start a Sunday school.

"We want to invite kids to come out. We want families to know that they're welcome and we want it to be a fun atmosphere for kids," said Rev. Danielle Martell.

The school is aimed at kids from three to 12 and would include crafts, games and stories.

The church has traditional Christian values and would like to teach kids about the Bible and give them hope in Jesus, Martell says.

"The biggest reason [behind starting the Sunday school] is because we want to share the good news of Jesus with children and we think children are really valuable and an important part of the church community."

The church's weekly service takes place at 9 a.m. Sundays at 1710-56th St. (the South Delta Artists Guild building next to the South Delta Recreation Centre).
