In the battle of the cafes Tim Hortons reigns supreme among federal politicians.
The iconic coffee and donut shop ranked the highest in member of Parliament spending according to expense reports between Dec. 3, 2015 and Sept. 11, 2019.
Expenses showed that MPs spent $116,415 at Tim Hortons, with Nespresso next at $21,005, followed by Starbucks in third spot at $12,202.
McDonalds was fifth at $4,700.
As for Delta Liberal MP Carla Qualtrough, she spent a mere $52.35 at Tim Hortons which ranked her 260th among MPs.
