A wonderful tradition continues as The Delta Music Makers under the direction of Curt Jantzen and Margaret Behenna once again are hosting the 18th annual Ladner Bandfest June 1 and 2 at Memorial Park.
Come one, come all to enjoy the music performed by bands from the Lower Mainland as well as Delta bands. Bring a lawn chair or a blanket and enjoy a wonderful weekend of concert band music in Ladner each day from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Twenty bands will be playing free, 40-minute concerts on two stages throughout the weekend. The featured band is the 15th Artillery Regiment Band, which will close out the festival on Sunday at 4:40 p.m.
Enjoy an old-fashioned weekend of concert band music in lovely Ladner. Food services will be on site by TOOB. The event goes on rain or shine.
