Yuk Yuk’s Media is excited to announce its inaugural show at the Genesis Theatre in Delta bringing laughter and a night of unforgettable stand-up to Ladner’s doorstep.
The inaugural Delta Yuk Yuk’s Comedy Spectacle takes place on Saturday, Nov. 30, with the highly anticipated headliner, Byron Bertram, supported by a talented lineup of Canadian comedians: Syd Bosel, Justin Nichol, and host Amber Harper-Young.
Bertram has been making waves internationally with his debut comedy special, Live from the Biltmore, which was released Nov. 10, through 800 Pound Gorilla, the world’s top comedy record label.
Filmed in his hometown of Vancouver, Live from the Biltmore showcases Bertram’s edgy humour and distinct style, covering everything from dating mishaps and quirky cultural observations to political satire, all delivered with his unmistakable energy and international appeal.
“I’m beyond excited to headline the first-ever Delta Yuk Yuk’s Comedy Spectacle,” he said. “It feels amazing to perform for large audiences in B.C. before heading south for new opportunities. The Delta show is going to be a fantastic night, I’m ready to bring all the laughs, wild stories, and comedy I can offer. Can’t wait to see everyone there!”
Known for his masterful accents and characters, Bertram has wowed audiences worldwide, even sharing stages with big names like Zach Galifianakis and Eddie Izzard. With more than 20 million views across social media, he’s become a global comedy favourite, as well as having been featured on shows like Britain’s Got Talent, Once Upon a Time, Supernatural, and Riverdale.
“We’re thrilled to bring Yuk Yuk’s to Delta, and there’s no better way to kick off our debut show than with the incredible Byron Bertram,” said Garry Yuill, Icarus Capital/Yuk Yuk’s Media Founder. “His international success, combined with his unique style and energy, makes him the perfect headliner for what promises to be a memorable night of comedy. Add in the talented Syd Bosel, Justin Nichol, and Amber Harper-Young, and we’ve got a lineup that’s sure to deliver laughs from start to finish.”
The show starts at 8 p.m. (doors at 7 p.m.) at Genesis Theatre (5005 45 Ave. Delta).
