Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and Gallery 1710 in Tsawwassen has a feast for your eyes with its 18th annual juried exhibition Oil and Water.
Artists, not only from B.C., but also from across Canada, have created paintings for your pleasure. Landscapes, abstracts, portraits, and nature themes are all represented.
Three prominent art experts will be awarding honours and prizes starting with $1,000 for First in Show, $500 for second place, $350 for third place and five Honorary Choices, on Thursday, June 1 at 6:30 p.m. with nibbles and light refreshments being served. Oil and Water will continue from June 2 to 25 from noon to 4 p.m. every Thursday through Sunday and from noon to 8 p.m. Fridays.
