Delta Photo Club is excited to announce a special Zoom presentation, Going Deeper: Photography as a Spiritual Path, led by photographer and educator Judy Holland Hancock.
This presentation, designed for photographers at all skill levels, addresses the various ways that photography can serve as a powerful tool for spiritual journey, reflection, and awareness.
The Zoom presentation is Wednesday, Nov. 6 from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m.
Holland Hancock will guide us through her personal journey of using photography to engage more deeply with the world around us, finding the essence rather than just the superficial appearance of simple things in life.
Symbolism, light, and sensual forms are often drawn upon in her work and reflect her lifelong search for meaning and peace.
This talk is not associated with any religion or spiritual tradition, making it accessible to everyone who is simply curious about the intersection of creativity and mindfulness.
Through captivating imagery and thoughtful discussion, participants will be invited to view photography not just as a technical skill, but as a path to self-discovery and greater understanding of the world and themselves.
Hancock Holland is an award-winning Canadian photographic artist and lifelong educator. Her work has been exhibited in North America and Europe, and her YouTube tutorials have garnered more than 350,000 views.
The meeting Zoom link will be sent out in the afternoon of Nov. 6.
