Nothing like shooting a snowy Christmas street scene on a sweltering late July day.
That’s what is happening in Ladner Village on Wednesday afternoon as number of stores have been decorated for Hallmark’s Maple Valley Christmas, directed by Paul Ziller. Ladner is one of several Metro Vancouver locations being used for the movie that began production earlier this month. Filming is expected to wrap-up today. The movie reportedly stars Andrew Walker and Peyton List.
Ladner has long been a favourite location when it comes to holiday movies, including The Christmas Ring that was filmed on the village streets back in 2020.
