November is Pancreatic Cancer Awareness month and local restaurants in Ladner and Tsawwassen are fundraising for the BC Cancer Foundation in support of pancreatic cancer research and care.

Roberta Haydon lost her husband, Thomas, to pancreatic neuroendocrine cancer and is spearheading the fundraising initiatives to help change the outcome for others facing the disease.

“This fundraiser is important to me because it is a way to honour Thomas by raising funds and creating awareness for pancreatic cancer research and care,” says Roberta.

Visit the following locations to show your support – the program details are as follows:

Thursday, Nov. 19: Ladner and Tsawwassen McDonald’s restaurants will be donating 10 per cent of their total sales for the day
