Car shot-up in Delta, say police

The Delta Police Department (DPD) is asking for any witnesses or video footage of a shooting incident which occurred in North Delta early Saturday morning. 

According to the DPD, on Aug. 31 at around 3 a.m., police responded to a report of shots fired in the 7500-block of Minster Drive. 

The investigation has determined shots were fired into an unoccupied vehicle parked in the driveway of a home. 

Two male suspects dressed in black clothing were seen leaving the area, the DPD notes, adding no injuries were reported. 

While still early in the investigation, investigators believe it was a targeted incident.

Investigators are looking for CCTV and dash camera video from the area between 2:30 and 3:10 a.m.
