?Please join the Delta Nats for our April meeting on Monday, April 9 at 7: 30 p.m. at Cammidge House on Boundary Bay in Tsawwassen. Our speaker this month is Dr. Melinda Brugman. She will speak on "Through the Looking Glass - Walking back in time along the cliffs at Lily Point near Point Roberts". There is no cost for this presentation and we invite everyone to attend. ?The South Delta Therapeutic Touch Network meets every second Wednesday at the Natural Comfort Wellness Centre in Tsawwassen. The next meeting is on April 11. ?This spring, the Tsawwassen Lawn Bowling Club welcomes new members of all ages. If you would like to know more about bowling on grass, and why we are so enthusiastic about our sport, come to the club's Open House on Saturday, April 14, any time between noon and 2 p.m. If your interest is piqued, you may choose to sign up for coaching later in the month. The club is located on the north side of Winskill Park, next to the artificial turf playing field.

?Behind the Cover is set for Monday, April 16 from 2 to 3 p.m. at the Tsawwassen Library. Adults are invited for some informal, fun and thought-provoking book talks. Let our Information Services staff introduce you to some new authors. Drop in.

?If you would like to know more about "Urban Gardening" which in other words means growing vegetables or flora on your balcony, patio or window boxes, you should attend the Evergreen Garden Club's lecture conducted by Andrea Bellamy on the subject of "Guerrilla Gardening" on April 17 at 7: 30 p.m. at Kin House, 5050-47th Ave., Ladner. ?International Folk Dancing - Drop-in classes are led by volunteer Julia Erdmann every Thursday evening from 7 to 8 p.m. until May 17 on the beautiful sprung dance floor at KinVillage Centre, 5430-10th Ave., Tsawwassen. Beginners welcome and no partner necessary.. Per class cost: $3 for members, $4 for non-members.

?The Kin Jam band invites everyone to listen and/or dance to their music the second and fourth Tuesday of each week from 1: 30 to 3: 30 pm. At KinVillage Community Centre. Admission is free.

?At KinVillage Community Centre: Bingo takes place every Wednesday starting at 1 p.m. and running until approx. 3 p.m. Card costs vary. Drop-ins and beginners are welcome to International Folk Dancing Classes Thursdays from 7-8 p.m. until May 17. Cost per class $3 members and $4 non-members. Drop ins and beginners are welcome to join Karen's Zumba classes on Fridays starting April 13th. Cost per class $7 members $8 non-Members. Cribbage players welcome on Fridays at 1 p.m.

FUND RAISERS

?Talent Showcase by Miss World Canada Delegate Kiana Passmore at the Tsawwassen Arts Centre is scheduled for April 21. Doors at 6: 30 and the show starts at 7 p.m. A fundraiser for Variety, the night will be full of raffles, door prizes, silent auction goods and entertainment. Tickets are $10 before April 10 or $12 at the door. Looking for silent auction goods and donations. Email [email protected] for more information or to purchase tickets.

?IODE Boundary Bay Chapter invites bridge enthusiasts to a Bridge and Afternoon Tea fundraiser on Wednesday, April 25 from 1 to 4 p.m. at All Saints Anglican Church, Ladner. Tickets are $10 per person and can be obtained by contacting Frances at 604-943-1119 or Diane at 604-948-3198. All proceeds go towards local charities.

SPECIAL EVENTS

?Breakfast with the Easter Bunny at the South Delta Recreation Centre will be held on Saturday, April 7 from 9 - 11 a.m. There will be a pancake breakfast, crafts & Easter egg hunt. Tickets cost $7 purchased in advance at Winskill, South Delta Recreation Centre and Ladner Leisure Centre. Bring your camera and get a picture with the Easter Bunny.

?A Delta Parks Recreation and Culture Children's Swap Meet will be held at the South Delta Recreation Centre on April 14 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. If you are looking for clothing, toys and/or other items for your children, this is the place to buy them! Admission is free. There will be loads of goodies for those bargain hunters who want to purchase books, baby accessories and clothes, as well as opportunities to rent tables and sell your gently used items. ARTS

?The Delta Concert Band and KinVillage Community Centre invite you to a Swing into Spring concert of show tunes from 2: 30 to 3: 30 on Saturday, April 21. Admission by donation. KinVillage Community Centre 5430-10th Ave., Tsawwassen.

?Lift Every Voice - an Ecumenical musical service is set for Sunday, April 22, starting at 7 p.m. at the South Delta Baptist Church. By donation to the Community Fund of Faith. All are welcome.
