Delta Police continue to investigate an early morning break-in to a gas station in Ladner.

A/Insp. James Sandberg confirmed in an email to the Optimist that the Otter Co-Op gas station was broken into at approximately 2:50 a.m. Friday morning.

"This morning a little before 3 a.m., two suspects broke the glass of the Co-Op gas station at 64th St. and Ladner Trunk Road and gained entry," said Sandberg. "Once inside they targeted valuables in the store. The investigation is on-going and the value of the loss has not yet been determined."

He said officers maintained the scene until the Lower Mainland Integrated Forensic Services team could respond to process the scene for forensic evidence.

"Upon conclusion of processing, the scene was released to the property reference for Co-Op," added Sandberg.
