Delta police don’t only impound speeding sports cars.
Their officers focus on safety applies to all drivers and vehicles on Delta’s roadways.
According to police, recently, a commercial vehicle was caught speeding at nearly double the limit in a 50km/h zone at Deltaport Way.
“Our radar clocked the vehicle travelling at 96km/h, resulting in charges for excessive speed,” say police in a post on their Facebook page. “The vehicle was subsequently impounded and towed. Whether you're driving a car, truck, or any vehicle, sticking to the speed limit isn't only about obeying the law—it's about saving lives.”
