Let’s head back to April 1970 when members of the Delta Figure Skating Club performed Winter Wonderland before a delighted audience during their ice show at the Delta Ice Rink.
The show was held every two years and was directed in 1970 by professional skater Jennifer Nicks Sturrok. The large cast included several B.C. champions.
Still going strong, the Delta Skating Club has been serving the community of Delta since 1959.
