It’s Throwback time again. Here's an ad in the Optimist for Scottsdale Mall back in November 1986. The Surrey side of Scott Road now doesn't look anything like it did back then.

The Surrey side of Scott Road now doesn't look anything like it did back then.

Meanwhile, already having seen one high-rise built, the City of Delta’s latest area plan for North Delta calls for major changes along the Scott Road corridor that could see much more higher-density residential development over the next few years.  The city is currently dealing with applications for a condo project at 70th Avenue, another high-rise application at the corner of 75A Avenue which has been contentious, as well as a high-rise application at 95A Avenue at Scott Road.
