The B.C. River Forecast Centre is maintaining a high stream flow advisory for the lower portion of the Fraser River.

Early Friday morning, the river peaked at a flow of 11,900 cubic metres per second at Hope. The water level dropped slightly over the weekend and was flowing at about 11,000 cubic metres per second on Monday morning. The Corporation of Delta issued an update stating that while the risk of flooding in Delta is currently low, that status is subject to change. Last week, Delta staff began daily dike patrols and the municipality's emergency operations centre was set up to ensure a quick response should conditions change.

Updates will be posted on Delta's website, www.corp.delta.bc.ca.
