The Hannah's Heroes Foundation is hosting its fourth annual Merry Wisher Golf Tournament on Thursday, June 13 at Tsawwassen's Beach Grove Golf Club.

The foundation was established in 2007 to raise awareness and funds for pediatric brain cancer research. It was founded in honour of Hannah Hatlen, a Tsawwassen youngster who was diagnosed with a terminal brain tumor in 2005. She died a year later at the age of five.

All proceeds from the golf tournament will go to the Child and Family Research Institute at B.C. Children's Hospital, which carries out pioneering research to help find a cure for pediatric brain tumors.

Tickets cost $160 and include dinner.

The tournament has a shotgun start at 1: 30 p.m. There will also be both a live and silent auction as well as putting and longest drive contests.
