On Oct. 6, officers executed a search warrant at a home in the 8000-block of Modesto Place and discovered a large marijuana grow operation that included an illegal electrical bypass.

A total of 366 plants were seized from inside the home and two adult males were arrested at the scene. The plants are estimated to be worth $190,000. Officers also seized $31,000 worth of growing equipment.

Police are recommending several charges in the case, including, production of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking and theft of electricity.

Both men were released and will appear in court at a later date.
