Delta Police are investigating a stabbing which occurred Sunday afternoon at a busy Ladner roadway.
According to police, shortly before 4:30 p.m. officers responded to a stabbing incident in the 5600-block of Ladner Trunk Road. Upon arrival, officers located a male victim with a serious injury.
Police set up containment, resulting in a male suspect being located and taken into custody.
The victim’s age has not been released, but police note further investigation revealed that the suspect and victim know each other, and there is no ongoing risk to the community.
Charges are pending against the male suspect, who is currently in custody.
The victim was transferred to hospital for treatment and is in stable condition.
