Doctors or other health-care providers should be vaccinated against COVID-19.
That’s what our latest online poll suggests as nearly 500 readers participated when we asked the question: Does it make a difference to you if your doctor or other health-care provider is vaccinated against COVID-19?
Over the 488 responses, 215 were from within Delta. The most popular option by a substantial margin was “Yes. Health-care providers have a responsibility to limit exposing their patients to the COVID-19 virus,” with 75 percent of our readers agreeing.
Another two percent opted for “Maybe. It might depend on which health-care provider it was and the level of risk or exposure they presented.
Rounding out the vote total were 23 percent of our readers opting for “No. As long as they are careful, the choices they make about their own health are nobody else’s business.”
Results are based on an online study of adult Delta Optimist readers that are located in Ladner. The margin of error - which measures sample variability - is +/- 4.39%, 19 times out of 20.
