The Delta Community Animal Shelter has a one-year-old German Shepherd looking for a very special home.
“Rex came to visit us when his owners determined that they were not the right fit for this active young boy, and he needed a more interactive home to see him thrive,” a Tuesday Facebook post from the shelter notes.
The shelter notes Rex is very intelligent and loves to learn, loves to play and loves to work.
“Rex has shown tremendous improvement with his behavior while being in the shelter and flourishes on a consistent routine, a positively reinforced training plan and lots of brain work to keep him busy.”
