If you said yes to any of those, check out the Career and Hiring Fair, brought to you by Delta WorkBC Centre and the Delta School District.
The Career and Hiring Fair is this Thursday, June 8 from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at Sungod Rec Centre in North Delta (7815 112 St.).
This event is open to current students and adults of all ages looking for employment.
“Opportunities for people to connect face-to-face to explore potential educational opportunities and/or vacant positions are extremely valuable. It is so much easier to share information and build meaningful rapports in person,” said Lisa Chapieski, District Coordinator, Student Options and Opportunities. “We’re excited to work in partnership with the Delta WorkBC Centre to offer the Career and Hiring Fair, our first event of this nature. I’d also like to express our thanks to the City of Delta for all their work on making this happen!”
There will be full-time, part-time and summertime opportunities. At the event, you’ll be able to meet with local employers, get in front of hiring managers and connect with post-secondary schools. There will be a wide range of industries and professions for you to explore.
