The Delta Police Department (DPD) is asking for witnesses or video that can help them track down the suspect in an early morning shooting into a residence on Tuesday.
According to police, on Nov. 26, just before 3 a.m., an unknown suspect fired shots into a home in the 11300-block of 92nd Avenue in North Delta. The home was occupied at the time, but there were no injuries.
The DPD note that the shooting is believed to be targeted at the home, however, the reason for the shooting and the identity of the suspect remains unknown.
At this time, it is still undetermined if the incident is gang related.
Officers will be conducting a door-to-door canvas today to identify potential witnesses and to collect CCTV video.
The DPD is asking for anyone who may reside in the area or were travelling in the area near the time of the incident and saw any suspicious behavior, or witnessed the shooting directly, to contact the Delta police at (604)-946-4411 and quote file number 2024-22324.

The DPD note the shooting is Delta’s second recorded shooting of 2024. In both incidents, there were no reported injuries and there is no indication that the two incidents are related.
