The stories included the many different Christmas preparations that were underway by the various merchants of the day and suggestions for ideal gifts.
Advertisers included Lanning, Fawcett & Wilson Limited general store, JNO. Reagh “The Shoeman”, Denny & Galloway Home Furnishings, Fisher’s Drug and Book Store, W.H. Smith grocers, Clement & Lambert hardware store, The Delta Hotel, A. Clausen “The Jeweller”, and Harold Howard “The Tailor”, among others.
This picture was the front page photo that had a children’s Christmas poem by an unnamed author.
