TransLink adjusts service levels every three months to reflect changing demand and travel patterns.

To help address overcrowding around the region, TransLink is announcing modest frequency increases to bus service on 47 routes this fall.

These short-term improvements are possible through the 2024 Investment Plan.

Fall Service Changes highlights:

• Increases on 21 busy routes in Surrey, North Delta, and Langley.

• Increases on five bus routes serving UBC, SFU, and Capilano University in time for back-to-school.

• A new bus bay at White Rock Centre, which serves 13 routes, to increase capacity at the bus loop.

Additionally, Route 609 will be extended from sc̓əwaθən məsteyəxʷ/Tsawwassen First Nation to Ladner Exchange, providing more efficient connections and increased frequencies.

Fall Service Changes take effect on Sept. 2.
