A new sign welcoming visitors into Ladner Village has sparked a lively discussion Wednesday afternoon on social media.
And it’s not a positive one regarding the signage.
The metal blue sign is in the new plaza area – a joint project between the City of Delta and the Ladner Rotary Club.
The plaza was constructed in the spring, but this new sign seemingly appeared overnight this week.
Comments from residents on social media are calling the sign “ugly and out of place for the historic Village,” while others are comparing it to “awful Skytrain signage.”
The Optimist has emails into the City of Delta for comment.
