The following are some of the calls of interest the Delta police responded to in the South Delta area between Thursday, June 21 and Monday, June 25:

TSAWWASSEN

. June 21, 11: 54 a.m., 1100-block of 51st Street: The complainant reported that both of their unlocked vehicles had been entered while parked in the driveway of the residence. Among the items stolen was a purse, wallet, iPhone and assorted ID.

. June 23, 6 a.m., 5300block of 8A Avenue: The complainant reported that their unlocked vehicle was entered and a small pocket knife taken. The total value was approximately $5.

. June 25, 10: 21 a.m., 5100-block of Galway Drive: The complainant reported that their unlocked vehicle that was parked in the driveway of the residence was entered and several items stolen.

Ladner

. June 24, 12: 25 p.m, 4200-block of Wellburn Drive: The complainant reported that an unknown person caused damage to their vehicle while parked in the carport of the residence.

There was damage to the windshield, hood, doors and mirrors. The file is under investigation.

. June 23, 7: 40 p.m., 6100block of Deas Island Road: The complainant reported

that someone had smashed the rear window of their vehicle while it was parked at Deas Island Park. Their wallet was taken with numerous pieces of ID inside and cash. Police are reminding people to never leave any valuables in your vehicles and to ensure they are locked.

. June 24, 6: 56 p.m., 4800block of Linden Drive: The complainant reported that their residence had been broken into; the rear door had been forced open. Several items were taken including a camera. The identification section attended the residence and collected possible DNA.
