Ladner baseball players suit up for B.C. at Futures Tournament

Four baseball players from Ladner suited up for Team B.C. at the prestigous Northwest Futures Tournament in Mt. Vernon, WA. After an intense tryout camp, open to all 14-and-15 year old boys playing in either the B.C.

Four baseball players from Ladner suited up for Team B.C. at the prestigous Northwest Futures Tournament in Mt. Vernon, WA.

After an intense tryout camp, open to all 14-and-15 year old boys playing in either the B.C. Minor, Little League, or the Premier Baseball leagues, Baseball B.C.'s High Performance division selected top players from throughout the province to compete in the tournament. The roster included Clint Taylor (class of 2014), Brock Morgan (2014) Malcolm Boehm (2014) and Dayton Wilson (2015).

Team B.C. faced some of the best talent from Washington, Oregon and Montana.

This was the first time Baseball BC sent a provincial select team at both of these grad class divisions.The purpose of the event was to showcase and identify the best players and top prospects in area for college and MLB scouts.
