Tsawwassen's Morgan Latremouille showcased his outstanding versatility in racquet sports to repeat as "A" Division champion at the Fifth Annual Pacific Rim Open Racketlon Tournament in Victoria.

The unique event sees participants compete in four racquet sports - table tennis, squash, badminton and tennis. Each sport is played up to 21 points with the player accumulating the most points advancing to the next round.

After two earlier victories, Latremouille met top ranked Jeremy Easterbrook of Montreal in the championship match.

The pairing was the same for this summer's Nationals in Granby, QB where Easterbrook edged Latremouille by just a single point.

Latremouille went on to place fifth overall and second in the Junior Division. This time around, Easterbrook won both table tennis and badminton events, but could not amass a large enough lead to compensate for Latremouille's convincing 21-2 victory in squash.

Latremouille needed 18 points in tennis and maintained a slight lead throughout, finally reaching victory late in the contest. He becomes the third back-toback winner of the event.
