The regional rep squad, which features the top 15-to-17-year-olds from Delta, Richmond and Vancouver, is looking for specifically timekeepers and scorekeepers. Home games at the LCC are typically played every other weekend beginning at 11: 30 a.m. Anyone interested can contact head coach Leland Mack at lelandmack@ hotmail.com.

Meanwhile, the Canadians are expected to finalize their roster this week, leading up to their regular season opening series at Kelowna Sept. 24-25 against the Okanagan Rockets.

The BCMMHL was established in 2004 to provide elite level midget age the opportunity to play at a high level within their age group in order to further develop them for the next level of hockey.

Canadian alumni include Evander Kane (Winnipeg Jets), Brandon McMillan (Anaheim Ducks) and NHL draft picks Adam Morrison (Philadelphia), Cam Reid (Nashville), Brandon Gallagher (Montreal) and Josh Nichols (Toronto).

Former Canadian standout Brodie Reid, who signed with the San Jose Sharks last spring, had a goal and an assist in a Prospects Game win over Calgary on Sunday in Penticton.
