Tsawwassen Springs Resort head golf professional Murray Poje finished third at last week's Callaway Golf PGA of B.C. Club Professional Championship at the Richmond Country Club.
After opening with an even par 72, Poje closed with a 70 to place three shots behind Guildford pro Dan Swanson in the 36-hole event. The placing earned him $1,100.
Another local professional was also in contention as Darryl Stubbs of Cove Links placed sixth after firing rounds of 73-64.
The event had 30 of B.C.'s top club professionals competing for the $12,000 purse.
