Tsawwassen Martial Arts comes up big at World Championships

Tsawwassen Martial Arts (TMA) made history at the recent WUKF Karate World Championships in Monterrey, Mexico.

TMA’s 14 athletes brought home five gold medals, nine silver medals and two bronze medals.

In the process, TMA helped Team Canada to a fifth-place finish overall as 28 athletes from across the country brought home a total of 10 gold medals, 14 silver and eight bronze.
