After one silver medal and six bronze medals at the 2023 Karate World Championship, it looks like Tsawwassen Martial Arts (TMA) is ending 2023 with another big bang.
Last Sunday (Dec. 10) after a seven-day long test, which challenged the students mentally, emotionally, and physically, six of TMA’s best students earned their internationally recognized 1st Degree Black Belt.
The students include: Matthew Neufeld, Eric Pearson, Marley Bretherick, Lucas Maxwell, Camden Louie and Chase DeDecker.
TMA also participated in the Canada Karate Open 2023 at the Richmond Oval on Dec. 9.
