Re: Tsawwassen Springs drive-thru gets green light, Feb. 22
In the light of Delta council having given conditional approval of Ron Toigo's application for the establishment of a "high-end" drive-thru restaurant at Tsawwassen Springs, perhaps he will say thank-you to Mayor Lois Jackson and councillors Scott Hamilton, Ian Paton, Robert Campbell and Bruce McDonald,
who voted affirmatively, by hosting a "high-end" dinner for them in the drive-thru lane at say, McDonalds at Scottsdale Mall followed by dessert in the drive-thru lane at the adjacent Krispy Kreme donut shop. It would hardly be considered a bribe as the cost will be modest and the ambience of carbon monoxide would be supplied free by the other idling vehicles.
