This individual should be made aware of some facts, namely that the previous president of the Century Group was also once an immigrant to this country years ago.
Through his vision he made a huge difference to our community and country. He built some of the nicest homes on beautiful streets in Tsawwassen and gave us Diefenbaker Park.
He quietly donated millions of dollars to our hospital and his son is continuing his generosity by financially supporting Delta Hospice as well as Delta Hospital.
A great number of people seem to feel it is all right to deny a landowner use of his property while still ensuring he continues to pay exorbitant taxes on it.
If so many people feel this way, as Ellexis Boyle would seem to indicate, why then do they not come up with the money to offer Century Group a fair market price for this land, pay the taxes and farm it themselves?
Century has a vision for this property that would put Tsawwassen on the map as a first class community.
